Admission Counsellor

Experience - 1 to 3 years

**Job description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Build relationships with potential students to understand their educational goals, aspirations, and challenges.

**Consultative Approach**:Utilize a consultative approach to understand each student's needs and aspirations, offering tailored advice and guidance based on their interests and goals.
Advise students on suitable programs, career prospects, and potential pathways within the institution.

**Relationship Building**:Collaborate with internal departments such as academic advisors, faculty, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless admissions process.
Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other potential feeder sources.

Generate reports on admissions-related metrics and activities for management review.

**Events and Outreach**:Represent the institution at recruitment fairs, college fairs, and other events aimed at attracting prospective students.
Participate in outreach efforts to increase the institution's visibility and attract a diverse pool of applicants.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Counseling, Psychology, Communication) is preferred.
- Previous experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or related fields is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathy and the ability to actively listen and understand prospective students' needs.
- Familiarity with educational programs, admissions processes, and academic requirements.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Enthusiasm for helping students achieve their educational and career goals.
