We are looking for a highly professional and articulate accountant to support our US-based CPA firm. We are seeking a strong individual that can support the US team with various tasks including: client management, data entry, bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation. You will work closely with both the US and India based teams and will have an opportunity to learn and grow with the firm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle day-to-day client and firm activities and ensure that all daily processing work is completed within required turnaround time.
- Reconcile bank, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts
- Accurately and timely data input to various software packages ensuring error free entry and review of own work
- Faithfully follow firm provided documented procedures (written and multimedia) and checklists.
- Ensure effective quality control processes for all materials to be submitted to client, team members and regulators.
- Collaborate closely with a professional supervisor
- Perform day-to-day job duties that include reviewing the accounting and financial reporting for assigned clients.
- Effectively communicate and escalate issues to supervisor and clients.
- Work with and integrate with other office locations acting as both a team leader and problem solver to resolve bottlenecks
- Additional duties as assigned

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in input, review, documentation, and work product
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote teams.
- Well-mannered with presentable looks and etiquette
- Well-versed in MS Word and MS Excel
- Availability to work weekends and additional off hours to support US tax filing deadlines

**Preferred Skills**:

- General knowledge of tax laws
- Quickbooks, Ultratax or Zoho

**Communication**:

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to interact fluently and confidently with U.S.based clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
