About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements, while ensuring compliance with all internal processes and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct basic financial analysis and report findings
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal policies
  • Assist in audits, both internal and external
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (like Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation laws (if applicable)
  • Experience with ERP systems
