**Role Description**

**Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for:

- Collecting user requirements from the business and product owners to research, investigate and evaluate the best design solutions.
- As part of research and investigation carrying out scenario testing to understand design feasibility.
- Collaborating with the product owners and technical leads to develop the best possible solution.
- Creating user centred designs which meet the business requirements and identify technical solutions and constraints, and ensuring existing solutions are considered.
- Creating design solutions which are easy to understand and represent the business brand.
- Presenting design solutions back to the business and development team to aid their understanding of requirements.
- Working with product owners, developers and QAs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Carrying out user acceptance testing to test for intuitive functionality and user experience.
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems to aid our development team.
- Conducting user testing, gathering feedback, and refining designs.
- Presenting both written and verbal outputs directly to various stakeholders (internally and externally) in a clear and concise manner.
- Developing graphic designs in line with business requirements, including but not limited to video graphics and marketing collateral.
- Communicating with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Updating intellectual property and collateral to ensure it is up to date and consistent.
- Contributing to and maintaining brand guidelines, and design toolkits.
- Ensuring our processes (and supporting policies) are documented in the agreed systems.
- Maintaining internal standards and documentation associated with areas of responsibilities.

**Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Proven 2+ years of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g. Adobe XD)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills

**Professional Development Responsibilities**

You will be required to:

- Make recommendations about areas of improvement or development within the business.
- Drive personal continued professional development in line with the business objectives.
- Provide training and support to colleagues within the business and ensure their continuous development.
- Identify new trends in technologies and structure training strategies for the team to help them adopt it.
