**Job Title**: Finishing Incharge - Fabric Industry

**Experience Required**: 10+ years
**Department**: Production
**Reporting To**: Plant/Production Manager

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Oversee Finishing Operations**: Manage the entire finishing process, including washing, dyeing, printing, steaming, calendaring, and other finishing processes for fabrics.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that finished fabrics meet the required quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with the Quality Control team to address any issues related to fabric defects or inconsistencies.
- **Team Management**: Lead, supervise, and mentor the finishing team, ensuring productivity and efficiency. Develop training programs to enhance the skills of the team members.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously analyze and improve finishing processes to optimize production efficiency, reduce wastage, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor raw materials, chemicals, and consumables required for finishing operations. Ensure timely procurement and efficient utilization of resources.
- **Machinery Maintenance**: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all finishing machinery is operating efficiently and safely. Plan preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure that all finishing processes adhere to industry safety standards and company policies. Promote a safe and clean work environment.
- **Production Planning**: Work closely with the production planning team to ensure that finishing operations align with overall production schedules and deadlines.
- **Reporting**: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on finishing operations, including output, quality issues, and improvements. Present reports to senior management as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in fabric finishing, with a deep understanding of fabric types, finishing processes, and machinery.
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Fabric Production, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience).
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven experience managing teams in a production environment. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in the use of fabric finishing machinery, chemicals, and processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to address challenges in real-time and implement effective solutions to maintain production flow.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on quality control, ensuring that all finished fabrics meet customer and industry standards.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
- **Knowledge of Safety Standards**: Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards related to fabric production and finishing.
