- Responsibilities_
- _Process Purchase Orders (POs) with many IT vendors using a variety of ordering methods, such as electronic ordering (EDI/XML)_
- _Resolving order issues with clients Sales Representatives and our IT vendors_
- _Expedite and follow up with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of purchase orders_
- _Form and maintain vendor relationships to meet clients performance, efficiency and pricing requirements_
- _Research past orders to resolve issues and reconcile open PO transactions_
- _You will be involved in communication and interaction with various internal departments including Inside Sales, Accounting, Hardware, Licensing, Warehouse and our Technical teams_
- _Develop familiarity with our IT vendors and make sourcing decisions to pick best vendor based on performance, pricing and/or availability_
- _Issue quotes and interact with customers_
- _Obtain vendor quotes_
- _Create parts and vendors_
- _Reconcile vendor invoices and set up for payment_
- _Coordinate with Legal and suppliers through the defined channels for supplier to agree to clients’ existing vendor agreement or we try to get client’s legal to agree to the supplier’s agreement_
- _Follow-up and escalate on pending items with relevant departments_
- _Building relations with clients and sales representatives and becoming a point-of-contact for Sales and Supplier inquiries_
- _Own SLA/KPI and ensure achieve daily TAT and accuracy with 100%_
- _Share insights to the Training team on improving the team’s process knowledge overall_

- Minimum Qualifications / Skills_
- _Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration_
- _Prior work experience_
- _Excellent written and verbal communication skills_
- _Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally_
- _Ability to work both individually and in a team environment_
- _Excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills_
- _Ability to think creatively and find solutions to issues_
- _Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy_
- _Ability to self-manage, take initiative and be resourceful_
- _Excellent follow up skills_

- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Office experience_
- _Familiarity with computer products and programs are desirable for this position_
- _May need to work after hours, once every other month, to ensure orders that need to be processed, have been received and completed for End of Month_
- _On rare occasion (i.e. once every other year), our Purchasing Representatives may need to be "on call" and work on a weekend_
- _Oracle, SAP, knowledge and experience would be an added advantage_
