**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect, clean, disinfect, pack, and sterilize all surgical instruments, trays, and equipment.
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain proper records of sterilized items, batch numbers, and sterilization cycles.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any faults immediately.
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure compliance with hospital safety and hygiene standards.
- Store sterile items properly to prevent contamination and ensure timely availability to all departments.
- Coordinate with operation theatre (OT), ICU, and other departments for timely supply of sterile items.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of sterilization supplies and consumables.
- Participate in regular training and quality audits to ensure continuous improvement.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within timelines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
