Job Title: Furniture Delivery Driver

Summary:
As a Furniture Delivery Driver in the interior furniture industry, you will be responsible for transporting furniture items from distribution centers or warehouses to customers' homes or commercial locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading and Unloading: Safely load furniture items onto delivery trucks, ensuring that items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Assist with unloading items at the delivery location and carefully place them according to customer specifications.
- Delivery Route Planning: Efficiently plan delivery routes using GPS navigation and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Prioritize deliveries based on geographic proximity and delivery schedules to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, including greeting customers, confirming delivery details, and addressing any questions or concerns. Handle furniture items with care and respect customers' property while maneuvering items into designated rooms.
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble furniture items on-site according to manufacturer instructions, if required. Install furniture components such as legs, shelves, and hardware to ensure that items are fully functional and ready for use upon delivery.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery, customer signatures, and any delivery-related documentation. Report any delivery discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and vehicle cleanliness to maintain safety standards.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers, customer service representatives, and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules, address customer inquiries, and report any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items and maneuver them safely into customers' homes or businesses.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling deliveries and documentation.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation devices and route planning software.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items weighing up to [insert weight] pounds.

Pay: ₹18,044.75 - ₹20,080.06 per month
