We are looking to hire a People Business Partner II to join our team in India. This individual would be responsible for working with Director, People Business Partner to implement People function strategies throughout operations in India and lead change management effort where required. The work location would be our corporate office in Mumbai and the shift time would be 9:30am to 6:30pm and in hybrid mode of work pattern.

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking a proactive role with the development of local People Function Policies and priorities.
- Supporting the review and maintenance of policies and procedures ensuring that employment law requirements are complied with and to communicate these effectively to employees and managers.
- Supporting the performance management process
- Working with the COEs on matters relating to Benefits, Recruiting, Compensation, International Mobility and Learning.
- Participating in projects to improve processes/practices.
- Conducting company/local orientation to all new joiners
- Acting as a strategic partner and advisor to business leaders and line managers by supporting, coaching and guiding them on HR policies, practices, procedures
- Consulting business leaders and line managers on employee related issues
- Handling grievance redressal and employee relations issues
- Acting as a key advisor for succession planning and capability building
- Staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring organization compliance to applicable to employment laws and regulations in partnership with signing authorities & legal counsels.
- Developing high performance work culture through performance management, career development and retention initiatives

Requirements:

- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive Human Resource Business Partner experience including employee relations.
- MBA in HR or relevant educational qualification
- Must possess strong communication (verbal and written)
- Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a confidential environment essential.
- Excellent organization skills - ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum direction.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office and database skills.
- Detailed understanding of Indian Labour Laws.
- Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze employee data.
- Ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
