**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Captain to lead our front-of-house team. The Captain will play a key role in ensuring smooth café operations, delivering top-notch customer service, and creating a welcoming environment. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively between kitchen and service staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Customer Service Excellence**:
- Greet and welcome customers, ensuring they receive prompt and attentive service.
- Take and manage reservations, seat guests, and address any customer inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure guests have a seamless dining experience, from order taking to serving and post-meal interactions.
**2. Team Leadership**:
- Supervise, guide, and manage the service staff, including waiters and support staff, to ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times.
- Assign tasks, manage shifts, and ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and floor staff.
- Train and mentor new team members, instilling a strong customer service ethos and adherence to café protocols.
**3.Operational Oversight**:
- Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring the café runs efficiently and service is delivered promptly.
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues swiftly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
**4. Order Coordination**:
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages before they are served to guests.
**5.Sales and Promotion**:

- **Assist in upselling food and beverages, suggesting menu items to enhance the customer experience and improve sales.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and café promotions to confidently provide recommendations to customers.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Captain, Head Waiter, or similar supervisory role in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.**:

- **Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to manage a team, multitask, and ensure smooth operations under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.

Contract length: 11 months

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
