**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Job Position : Quality Check -Language Proofreader

Experience : 0.6 months - 2 yr

Location : JP Nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore

Work mode : WFO (Mon -Friday)

**Mandatory Skills**:
**Proficient in Any local languages & English**.

**Proficient in Any Translation/Subtitling Software Tools**

**The role is a day shift onsite work in JP Nagar and comes with a package of (25000 - 32000 p/m).**

**JOB DISCRIPTION**

The role involves listening to different languages audio and typing it in English accurately. It also requires attention to detail and good listening skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure subtitles adhere to client specifications and industry standards.
- Review and proofread subtitles for accuracy, timing, and synchronization.
- Check for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and typographical errors in the subtitles.Verify that subtitles are correctly formatted and encoded according to the requirements.Conduct tests to ensure subtitles are readable and properly displayed across different screen sizes and resolutions.
- Identify areas of improvement and advice to the team to improve the quality score.Work closely with the content production team to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with other language specialists to ensure consistency in multilingual projects.Handle clients and data with utmost confidentiality and integrity.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of English and Hindi ,Any local languages both written and spoken.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

**Must be able to speak, write, and understand - mentioned languages.**

**Any Local LanguagesEnglish**

**Proficiency with subtitling software’s and QC tools**
- Familiarity with different subtitle/close caption formats.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
