**JOB TITLE: KANNADA PROOFREADER FOR DIGITAL NEWS APP**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Kannada Proofreader to join our dynamic team responsible for ensuring the highest quality of content on our digital news app. As a Kannada Proofreader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the credibility and accuracy of the news articles published on our platform.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Content Quality Assurance**:

- Review and validate news articles in Kannada to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards.
- Verify facts, sources, and data to maintain the credibility of the content.

2. **Grammar and Language Check**:

- Conduct thorough grammar and language checks to ensure articles meet the highest linguistic standards in Kannada.

3. **Spell Checks**:

- Identify and rectify spelling errors to uphold the professionalism and quality of the published content.

4. **Duplication and Repetition Checks**:

- Scrutinize articles to identify and eliminate any duplication of news or repetitive content, ensuring a diverse and engaging user experience.

5. **Image Distortion Check**:

- Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to verify the accuracy and quality of images accompanying news articles, ensuring they align with the content.

6. **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with writers, editors, and other team members to maintain open communication and address any content-related issues promptly.

7. **Adherence to Style Guide**:

- Ensure consistency with the company's style guide and editorial policies while proofreading and editing content.

8. **Deadline Management**:

- Manage proofreading tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines and contribute to the timely publication of news articles.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Kannada, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of journalistic standards and ethics.
- Familiarity with digital news platforms and content management systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
