**Responsibilities**:

- Setting and operating VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Programming knowledge (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers) will be an added advantage.
- Tool selection, offset correction, and fixture setting.
- Performing first piece inspection and ensuring quality standards.
- Maintaining machine health and ensuring preventive maintenance.
- Handling production as per schedule and achieving targets.

**Technical Competencies**:

- strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of recent cutting tools
- Knowledge of various cutting parameters
- Cutting strategy selection for miniature cutters (0.10mm - 1mm)
- Should have basic knowledge of all type of manufacturing processes.
