**Job Summary**:
The Housekeeping Supervisor and Runner is a dual-role position responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team’s daily operations and assisting with deliveries of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest requests to ensure efficient service. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction while maintaining smooth operations between housekeeping and other hotel departments.

**Key Responsibilities**:Housekeeping Supervisor Duties**:

- **Supervision of Housekeeping Staff**:

- Oversee housekeeping staff, ensuring proper scheduling and task delegation.
- Monitor and inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness meets hotel standards.
- Train, mentor, and coach housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms and public spaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.
- Address guest complaints about housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Report and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team as needed.
- **Inventory and Supplies Management**:

- Monitor housekeeping supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock of linens, cleaning supplies, and toiletries.
- Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning materials, in compliance with safety regulations.
- Submit orders for replenishing supplies in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all housekeeping staff adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with hotel policies and sanitation guidelines, including COVID-19 protocols.
- **Staff Coordination and Performance**:

- Provide leadership and motivation to housekeeping staff to maintain high morale and productivity.
- Hold regular meetings with staff to communicate updates, goals, and address any concerns.
- Address performance issues and escalate major concerns to the Housekeeping Manager.

**Runner Duties**:

- **Delivery of Supplies**:

- Transport clean linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to housekeeping staff as required.
- Respond promptly to requests from housekeepers for additional supplies or materials.
- Ensure timely delivery of requested items to guest rooms, such as extra towels, pillows, or amenities.
- **Restocking and Organization**:

- Replenish housekeeping closets and carts with necessary supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas, ensuring they are neat, well-stocked, and comply with safety standards.
- **Guest Interaction**:

- Deliver guest requests (e.g., additional amenities or linens) directly to their rooms, providing friendly and professional service.
- Communicate any special guest requests or concerns to the housekeeping or front desk teams.
- **Assisting with Housekeeping Operations**:

- Support housekeepers by clearing used linens from guest rooms and public areas and delivering them to the laundry room.
- Perform light housekeeping duties when necessary, such as refreshing rooms or tidying up public spaces.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with some experience in a supervisory role.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Further education in hospitality management is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to guest requests.
- Physical stamina for manual tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
