**Job Title**: Housekeeping Supervisor
**Job Summary**: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and service quality in all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. This role involves leading a team of housekeepers, inspecting work, managing schedules, training staff, and maintaining inventory to guarantee a spotless and welcoming environment for guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Supervise Housekeeping Staff**: Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service. Assign tasks and monitor work performance.
- **Inspect Cleanliness**: Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet quality and cleanliness standards. Address any issues promptly.
- **Manage Schedules**: Create work schedules and allocate tasks based on occupancy and workload. Ensure that all areas are covered efficiently.
- **Training and Development**: Train new employees on housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and proper use of equipment and supplies. Provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities. Place orders as needed to prevent shortages and control costs.
- **Ensure Compliance**: Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- **Handle Guest Requests**: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- **Team Coordination**: Work closely with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to coordinate services and ensure guest satisfaction.
- **Report Maintenance Issues**: Identify and report any maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas to the maintenance team for prompt resolution.
- **Maintain Records**: Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, inventory, and staff performance for reporting and review purposes.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning products.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
**Work Environment**: The Housekeeping Supervisor typically works in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
