**Role Description**
The Digital Success team works in concert with our cross-functional partners across Salesforce to provide our customers with a seamless **personalized success experience **built to **deliver results **, reduce **time to value **, help customers **maximize their Salesforce investment **, and **secure their renewal **. We drive innovation as a single team by listening to our customers, leveraging data-driven insights, and building best-in-class success programs. The Customer Programs Automation team within Digital Success develops, designs, and builds technology solutions that enable data-driven customer interactions that optimize customer experience and impact customer adoption and loyalty.

The Internal Technical Consultant plays a key role in developing solutions based on business requirements and solution design documents. The Internal Technical Consultant must understand the existing platform and architecture to ensure compatibility and scalability of new solutions, components, and technology. The role includes creating and documenting solutions to integrate into external data sources, as well as leveraging automation, dynamic content, and data segmentation. They serve as hands-on advisors, using strong social skills, solution and/or technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, industry experience, consulting experience, and knowledge of our business to deliver successful programs. They can identify key risks or issues and are confident in handling difficult conversations with our internal partners to address them.

**Your Impact**
You will be serving as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform guide to our internal Digital Program Managers and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

- Create standard components for reference in the code library for repeatable use
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing solutions and resolve these issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Review your own code for quality and participate in code review sessions
- Code to best practices and create quality solutions

**Minimum Requirements**
- Experience with the Salesforce Platform
- Experience with marketing automation platforms; preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) but experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Eloqua, Marketo, Responsys, Pardot, or Highspot will be considered
- Experience with XML, JSON, JQuery, PHP, ASP, and Object Oriented Programming is a plus
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including requirements, design, implementation, testing and maintenance
- Experience in the interactive marketing industry preferred
- Ability to work with team members or individually with mínimal oversight
- Strong consulting/communication skills
- Strong analytical skills including data manipulation via Excel, SQL, etc
- The ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into business solutions
- Experience of working in Agile/Scrum team environments
- Ability to work effectively within a team, through task delegation, solutions design, and technical development, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to understand business goals and translate technical and non-technical information to and from business teams
- Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are recommended:

- Marketing Cloud Consultant
- Marketing Cloud Developer
- Other Salesforce certifications nice to have
