**Position**: Senior Associate/Assistant Manager
**Opening**: 2
**Location**: Kolkata (on-site)
Communication Proficient in English communication
Experience: Post-qualification experience of 1-3 years
**Qualification**: CA
Qualified (semi-qualified/ freshly qualified with good exposure, may also apply)
**IT Literacy**:Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power point. Exposure to Xero and Zoho Books (a/c packages) would be added advantage.

**Salary**: As per industry standards

**Key responsibilities would include**:

- Day to day accounting work, i.e., understanding business rationale behind invoices and processing the same, setting up payments, recording sales, ensuring correct tax levy, preparing bank and other necessary reconciliations, etc.
- Sound knowledge of import and export processes, related laws and documentation requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations / accounting standards.
- Assistance in timely direct & indirect tax filings.
- Interaction with external service providers such as auditors, bankers, etc.
- Understanding the business and preparing forecasts / budgets.
- Preparing meaningful MIS reports for Management’s consideration.
- Co-ordination within the team and cross-teams to ensure that the right information reaches the Management.
- Being open to managing new issues with a solution-oriented approach & intent to learn new things.
- Analyzing issues with a business mindset (e.g. accounts, tax, business, etc. implications) to come up with rational solutions which are beneficial for the group at large.

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
