**Transportation planning**: Coordinating with the transportation team, planning daily schedules, and assigning drivers
**Vehicle maintenance**: Scheduling maintenance appointments and monitoring refueling
**Safety**: Ensuring compliance with safety standards and transportation department SOPs
**Customer service**: Reviewing customer requirements, handling employee complaints, and processing urgent complaints to senior management
**Other responsibilities of a transport executive may include**: Vehicle tracking, Route planning, ERP systems, Transport management systems, Fleet management, Freight management, Logistics operations, Warehouse operations, and Documentation.
