**Function: Regional Procurement SCO
**Role: Senior Sourcing professional (Dy.G.M.) for Services cluster
**Key Objectives and Areas of Responsibility for Senior Sourcing Role**:
Key objective of the Sourcing role is to support business as Sourcing professional, Influential value-added partner and Capable leader.

**Serving as Senior Sourcing Professional**:
Role specializes in strategic sourcing of Products and services of Service category/Cluster (which includes Operational manpower Service contracts, Admin contracts, Labour contracts, Engineering services, Security services, Handling services, Recruitment, Insurance, Travel) and General services (Hospitality and Marketing etc) in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business / function in scope. Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research/ intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets and establishment of regional/local frame contracts. Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers is key.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and share thorough knowledge of local market:

- markets / category trends
- suppliers / local players
- Develop local and contribute to regional and global category sourcing strategies and initiatives
- Prepare & lead strategic supplier negotiation with local suppliers
- Prepare, conduct, and lead tenders (incl. e -sourcing/auctions)
- Ensure effective implementation of DP World Procurement policies and Procurement contracts
- Conduct local & regional supplier management and identify new best in class suppliers
- Manage team of cluster Buyers for day-to-day PR-PO transactions, Teams Annual Performance Evaluation,
- Run e-RFQ, e-auctions, Supplier registrations, Item code creation, Supplier Qualifications, Supplier Assessments etc.
- Lead Contract negotiations/renewals for Category spend
- Supplier Management
- Deliver Regional Procurement savings and Value additions
- Coordinate with Head office procurement for above threshold spends and categories
- Hands on experience in utilization of Oracle
- Procurement Data Analytics
- Travelling to meet and align External/Internal stake holders.

**Acting as Influential Partners**:

- Establish close relationships with regional/country business units to ensure actual / future knowledge of demand and service quality; build and maintain solid understanding of respective business needs
- Ensure strong working relationship & cooperation with (in addition to Business Partners):

- region/country and corporate sourcing / category managers,
- strategic suppliers,
- external partnerships locally (other organizations)


**Relevant Qualification**:

- E ngineering Graduate. Additional professional degree/diploma in SCM preferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication in English

**Required Experience**:

- 15+ years of relevant experience in Procurement area at corporate level.
- Proven experience in leading negotiations of mid/large volume, high impact and with different degrees of complexity.
- Well verse with eProcurement tools
- Relevant experience in Logistics industry would be preferred
- Collaborative working experience with multiple stakeholders of different Business Unts.
