Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections to identify hazards.
- Implement and monitor safety policies as per the Factories Act, 1948, and other applicable laws.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for factory staff and contractors.
- Investigate and document workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Ensure the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with state and national environmental and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve safety measures and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and submit safety compliance reports to regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in industrial safety, engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Indian safety regulations, including the Factories Act, Environmental Protection Act, and Hazardous Waste Rules.
- 3+ years of experience in safety management in an industrial or manufacturing setup.
- Certifications in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
- Proficiency in safety tools, reporting systems, and incident management.

Location: The position is based in Silvassa, with the requirement to be onsite and responsive to safety needs at all times.

This role is critical to maintaining workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
