Senior Environmental Safety Specialist

As an Environmental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and community. This position involves implementing effective workplace health and safety plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety plans and procedures to mitigate risks and hazards within the organization.
- Evaluate environmental health and safety practices to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training programs on environmental health and safety best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on environmental health and safety matters to foster a culture of responsibility and accountability.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Health Science or equivalent field of study.
- Professional certifications in environmental health and safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy and precision.
