Position: Food Tester

Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Sensory Evaluation**:

- Conduct taste tests to evaluate the flavor, texture, appearance, and overall quality of food products.
- Compare samples against established standards and competitors' products.
- Provide detailed feedback on sensory attributes to the production and development teams.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Perform routine checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and record any deviations from quality standards and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain and improve product consistency.
- **Product Development Support**:

- Assist in the development of new products by providing sensory feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Participate in trials and experimentation of new recipes and ingredients.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and feedback.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for product improvements.
- Document any issues related to food safety and quality and report them to the appropriate departments.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all testing processes comply with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new testing methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety and quality assurance practices.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the production, quality control, and R&D teams to address any quality issues.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss quality control findings and product improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Prior experience in food tasting, quality assurance, or a related role in the food industry.
- Strong sensory evaluation skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for food and a keen interest in the sweets and mithai industry.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus
