Food Technologist

As a Food Tester at MM Mithaiwala Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food products. You will be responsible for tasting and evaluating a variety of sweets and snacks to ensure they meet our high standards for flavor, texture, appearance, and overall quality. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for delivering delicious and high-quality products to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:
**Product Evaluation**:

- Taste and evaluate a wide range of sweets and snacks produced by MM Mithaiwala Pvt Ltd.
- Assess the flavor, texture, appearance, and overall quality of each product.
- Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement to the production and quality control teams.
- Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular sensory evaluations of products during different stages of production.
- Identify any deviations from standard recipes or quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with the quality control team to address and resolve any issues related to product quality.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of product evaluations, including tasting notes and quality assessments.
- Generate reports on product quality, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement changes based on feedback and evaluation results.

**Research and Development**:

- Assist in the development of new products by providing sensory input and feedback during the R&D process.
- Participate in taste panels and sensory analysis sessions for new recipes and formulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food tasting and sensory evaluation techniques.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all tasting activities comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols while handling and tasting food products.
- Report any safety or hygiene concerns to the appropriate department immediately.

**Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work closely with chefs, production staff, and quality control personnel to maintain product excellence.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members on sensory evaluation techniques and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a food tester, sensory analyst, or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong sensory evaluation skills with the ability to detect and articulate subtle differences in flavor, texture, and appearance.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control practices.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for high-quality food products.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in taste panels and conduct evaluations on a regular basis.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
