Job Description for Lab Chemist (Vacancy 3)

Position: Lab Chemist

Company: Precious Alloys

Location: MIDC Andheri

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 1 Year of Experience

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry (Analytical)

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in conducting laboratory tests according to established procedures.
- Prepare chemical solutions and standards as per lab requirements.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments like ICP, Auto titrator, XRF, Hardness tester.
- Record and analyse data from experiments and document results accurately.
- Ensure the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Assist senior lab technicians in day-to-day lab operations.
- Support in preparing samples for testing and analysis.
- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (Analytical)
- Proficiency in wide range of analytical techniques and instrumentation, with demonstrated expertise in method development and validation.
- Capable of handling ICP-OES machine independently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow them diligently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

- Basic understanding of laboratory safety standards.
- Familiarity with instruments like ICP, XRF and various chemical handling and storage procedures.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on laboratory instruments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,763.50 - ₹32,347.56 per month
