**Education**:Bachelor degree/ Diploma in Chemistry or higher.

**Experience**: 4+ years of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in the Lubricants industry

**Location**: Dubai (UAE)

**Role**: Lube Oil Chemist

**Industry Exp Requirement**:Lubricants industry.

**Overview**:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Lube oil chemist to join our team and play a key role in the formulation, development and testing of high-performance lubricants. This role requires a strong background in chemistry, particularly in the field of lubricants, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished lubricants using analytical techniques such as ICP -OES, FTIR, PDSC, Viscometry, TBN, CCS etc.

2. Develop and optimize the formulations for engine oils and industrial lubricants as per the specification requirements.

3. Maintain the inventory of Chemicals and consumables.

4. Perform the internal calibration of instruments to ensure the consistent process control.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality control, and marketing to support product development initiatives and address technical challenges.

6. Maintain and communicate accurate records of experimental data, test results, and formulation recipes.

7. Participate in the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers, raw materials, and laboratory equipment.

8. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the laboratory

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Chemistry or higher.
- Proven experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in Lubricants industry
- Proficiency in analytical techniques & familiarity with industry standards and testing methods (e.g., ASTM)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
