**Job Summary**:
As a **Commis Chef** you will be part of a passionate team responsible for producing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and breads in accordance with the standards of Bastian Hospitality. The level (1, 2, or 3) will reflect your experience, skill set, and responsibilities within the bakery team.

**Key Responsibilities: General : Level 1& 2& 3**
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items including breads, pastries, cakes, doughs, and desserts.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the bakery section.
- Follow recipes, methods, and quality standards set by the Head Baker.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared and maintained daily.
- Label, date, and store bakery ingredients and products properly.
- Comply with food safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Support colleagues and help maintain a positive kitchen environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary/bakery education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen (Commis 1: 3+ years, Commis 2: 1-2 years, Commis 3: entry-level/freshers welcome).
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
