**Packaging Coordinator**

This position reports to Associate Director and is based at Greater Mumbai.

**What You Will Do**

Key Responsibilities***
- Coordinate and interact with various departments like Procurement, External manufacturers/ sites, Suppliers and Distributors to get packaging information.
- Manage Supplier Notification Mailbox: Own triage meetings and liaison between regions and cross functional teams. Support urgent projects and follow ups. Main tasks are to ensure no process gaps and transparency of change requests while having the tracker to respond to questions on project status or current hold ups, or completion.
- To review the collected data and discuss with the stakeholders for specific trends, areas of improvement or to raise any timely alerts.
- Participate in and perform packaging material activities according to approved procedures including but not limited to the qualification of packaging materials, evaluation of Supplier Change to support investigations.
- To assess packaging/product certification such as prohibited/restricted material, sustainability certification, component composition etc.
- To assess packaging material compliance with global legislation and internal standards (safety, regulatory & technical data).
- To review changes/updates to status of specifications and notify engineers on progress.
- Assist the suppliers with any help required with the system and help resolve their queries, if any.
- Responsible for compiling and sharing supplier suggestions on system and question improvements.
- Oversee, monitor, and verify accuracy of packaging specifications and other related documents for overall consistency.
- Manage supplier agreement process for new packaging development projects and commercial specification updates.
- To manage tracking daily, weekly, and monthly data/metrics of projects.
- To develop and update procedures to reflect changes in business processes and evolving needs for capturing packaging data.

**Qualifications**:
**What We Are Looking For**

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Package Engineering/Science, Pharmacy or related science degree (or equivalent) with Packaging specialization.
- At least 4-5 years of experience in Product Development, R&D and Packaging.
