**What you will be doing**:

- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
- Providing detailed status reports to managers, highlighting any difficulties and enabling necessary escalation
- Ensuring appropriate escalation of issues resulting in customer outage through management
- Participating in the logical design process of strategic projects and taking responsibility for the physical design and implementation
- Working as part of a development support team on projects
- Meeting project timelines and deadlines
- Performing maintenance of physical databases
- Creating physical database objectives in accordance with established standards and processes

**What you bring**:

- Strong skills in TSQL scripting, writing stored procedures, and performance tuning of queries
- Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture
- Knowledge of database administration activities, including backup, recovery, high availability solutions, and replication
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others to resolve issues
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts if necessary
- Willingness to provide on-call support during weekends on rotation
- Desire to learn new technologies
