**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Teaching**:

- Design and deliver courses in statistics for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the IT field.
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
- Foster an engaging and interactive learning environment.

2. **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the statistics curriculum in alignment with industry trends and advancements.

3. **Research**:

- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners on research projects.

4. **Student Support**:

- Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
- Support student research projects and encourage a culture of inquiry.

5. **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with advancements in statistics, data analysis, and IT through continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and seminars.

6. **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to enhance interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Engage with industry partners to facilitate internships, guest lectures, and collaborative projects.

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research.
- Proficiency in relevant statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SAS).

**Salary**: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Master's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Making lesson Plans: 1 year (preferred)
