Job Details:
**Role: Database administrator - SQL Server**
**Location: Dubai - offshoreDuration: 12 Months Job Purpose** Ensure service stability, uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA
Provide **L2 support**in the respective support area and act on technical escalations
Provide guidance and technical insights to the team for continuous improvements
Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements
Lead and manage the technical team supporting database platforms
Advice management team to take cost conscious decisions

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
- 9+ years of experience in database platform support in a large-scale environment.
- Skills in architecting, implementing, and providing post-implementation support.
- Ensure on-time service delivery to internal and external customers.
- Exposure and knowledge of large-scale production support.
- Experience in large-scale upgrades, migrations, and transitions in the support area.
- Security implementation of the products under the portfolio.
- Problem, incident, escalation, and change management in line with ITIL processes.
- Adoption of new database technologies and open-source database support.

**Strong Technical Skills in the following solutions**:

- MS SQL as the major and Oracle Database Platforms with hands-on experience.
- SQL Always ON.
- SQL Server Database Administration (backup and recovery, SQL installation, SQL patching).
- Database performance tuning.
- Security implementation.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, including installation, patching, and backup & recovery.
- Database capacity management, purging, and other maintenance tasks.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
