**About Job Role**:
This role will majorly involve activities related to India payroll, right from including the new joiners in the Payroll and process their monthly pay & remit related statutory deductions to calculation of separation pay and subsequent closures.
**What you will be doing**:
- Organizes the collection and input of pay adjustments, miscellaneous payments, commissions, bonuses and severance payments.
- Performs a variety of support tasks associated with payroll operations.
- Reviews and records all changes related to pay rates, exemptions and direct deposit in payroll system.
- Reviews and ensures accurate computation of pay.
- Processes wage and salary payments, audit time entries and schedule garnishment payments.
- Handles general inquiries regarding payroll.
- Records employee terminations and leaves of absence.
- Prepares employee full & final settlement.
**What you will bring**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll principles, processes, and procedures
- Skill in the use of payroll systems, data entry, computers, and PC software packages
- Must have an excellent command over Microsoft Excel
- Requires analytical, solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Team player that is both self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines, plan and work in an organized manner and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public
