**Brief Description about the Project**:
This is a prospective longitudinal study where muscle health (strength and mass), physical activity and quality of life will be assessed in relation to protein energy wasting (PEW) in children with chronic kidney disease and kidney transplantation. This study will also explore the role of home based innovative physical activity monitoring using a wearable sensor device (wrist tracker) in these children.

This study is being undertaken as collaborative research between the muscle lab team in the Department of Physiology, SJMC and the paediatric nephrology team, SJMCH. This research project has received financial support from CSIR, New Delhi
