Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Premium Calculation: Analyze factors affecting risk and determine appropriate premiums to ensure profitability while staying competitive in the market.

Policy Terms: Set policy terms and conditions, including coverage limits, exclusions, and endorsements, based on underwriting guidelines and risk assessments.

Collaboration: Work closely with insurance agents, brokers, actuaries, and claims adjusters to evaluate risks and facilitate smooth underwriting processes.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all underwriting decisions comply with state and federal regulations, as well as internal company policies and ethical standards.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions, risk assessments, and policy details for future reference or audits.

Ongoing Monitoring: Periodically review existing policies and accounts for changes in risk factors or claims history and make adjustments to terms or premiums as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., Associate in Commercial Underwriting, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field. Experience in specific insurance areas (e.g., health, life, property, casualty) is preferred.

**Skills**:Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Ability to interpret financial documents and risk factors.

Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Schedule:
Shift: Night shift, 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
