We are an asset-based trucking company located in Carson, California. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced DOT Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fleet of truck drivers adheres to both state and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all drivers comply with DOT regulations at both state and federal levels.
- **Protocol Oversight**: Manage and oversee protocols including:

- Random drug testing
- Updated licensing
- Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
- Driver Qualification Files
- Auditing
- Motive Logins/logouts
- Pre/Post trip inspections
- Preparing disciplinary action forms
- Updating employee files
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Safety Director and Safety Manager to facilitate compliance actions.
- **Reporting**: Inform the safety department of any infractions, missing documents, or non-compliance issues.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Must have experience working with a transportation company and knowledge of DOT and safety regulation laws. Experience with a US-based company is required.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail
- Ability to provide reports and updates to staff members
- Assertiveness
