**Job Description for Care Attendants (CA)**:
1. Responsible for all elders ADL’s
- Activities of Daily Living, including but not limited to:
a. Assistance with meals, bringing or removing elder meal trays to/from their room as needed.

b. Giving a bath or shower

c. Helping elder with wearing and removing clothes, undergarments & shoes

d. Helping elder with grooming (shaving, nail care, hair care)

e. Toileting - taking elders to the bathroom, cleaning and changing diapers an

incontinence pads, cleaning elders if they have soiled themselves, soaking soiled

clothes, emptying catheter bag.

f. Transferring elder into and out of bed, wheelchair, assistance with walking or pushing wheelchair

g. Responsible for maintaining elder’s overall hygiene and appearance.

h. Responsible for elder’s oral care (and denture care, if applicable)

i. Responsible for overall health and wellbeing of elder and reporting changes in health to Facility Nurse/Facility Manager

2. Engaging elders in activities and accompanying them for activities like walks, assisting in physical therapy, hospital visits, outings, celebrations etc.

3. Maintaining elders’ rooms/washrooms, arranging shelves, organizing and cleaning elder’s closets and bedside table, dusting, changing linen, ironing elder clothes if required, removing trash from elder room.

4. Completing all designated paperwork and giving a proper handover when shift changes.

5. In case of situations when housekeeping is not available then the CA is responsible for maintaining hygiene levels of the allocated elder area in case it is dirty.

6. Provide coverage as required when other staff is on leave.

7. All other duties as assigned.

**Qualification and Experience**:
1. Preferred: General Duty Assistant (GDA) course or a minimum of 12th pass.

2. Must be able to communicate in English and Hindi.

3. Should be sound, humble, pleasant, and empathetic.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
