**Important responsibilities in this role will include**:

- CA / MBA (Finance); CFA (added advantage)
- Support equity research analysts at a global investment bank in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies
- Track the news, events, and results of the companies under coverage
- Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry
- Build and maintain databases tracking key macroeconomic indicators / industry KPIs
- Work on financial models, update historical numbers, build projections, and conduct valuations
- Listen to and summarize investment conference calls
- Assist lead analysts in preparing company profiles, newsletters, flash notes, earning notes, initiating coverage reports, etc
- Develop roadshow presentations
- Handle ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements.

**S Skills We're looking for:

- **
- Well-versed in building financial models with forecasting and analytical skills (accounting, financial statement analysis, valuation, and forecasting)
- Good communication skills (should be able to put across thoughts clearly and confidently)
- Can effectively work in a team and manage the entire workflow
- Good understanding of valuation methodologies
- Good financial writing skills (beyond factual reporting, such as company descriptions)
- Ability to build client relations and work independently
- Knowledge of database tools, including Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial data systems
- Knowledge of VBA and Excel Macros will be advantageous
- CA or MBA with more than three years of experience in sell-side / buy-side equity research
