**Job Summary**:
The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting the finance team in managing daily financial operations, preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Transactions**:

- Record, process, and monitor day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor payments, and other financial statements regularly.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Verify invoices, expense claims, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, audits, and regulatory reports.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
- Assist in implementing financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- **Data Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data integrity.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the implementation of new financial tools or software.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other departments, such as HR and Operations, for payroll, budgeting, and expense management.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like CA, CMA, or CPA is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

**Skills Required**:

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
