We at Pret-fab are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Merchandiser to lead product development efforts from concept to launch

**PREREQUISITE**:

- You live in Delhi/NCR
- You have a min of 7yrs relevant experience designing Exquisite Accessories Collection for Men, Women & Home Accessories.
- You are a good communicator, highly organized with a distinct propensity for timeliness and professionalism.

**KEY RESPONSIBLE AREA**
- Relevant merchandising experience in accessories - create original and reinterpretation design & concepts that are functional and aesthetically appealing and pleasing
- Research and vet suppliers (nationally & globally) and manufacturers to identify the best partners (across different fields), along with an eye on quality, price, timeliness and reliability.
- Getting the mock-ups and samples developed as per specifications. Ensure product quality and execution meet our standards.
- Monitor WIP order tracking activities to ensure on-time deliveries with correct quality and quantity.
- Troubleshoot production problems; prevent/resolve issues that will impact on product quality, cost and delivery by conducting regular QC
- Assist Management with product buying, ideate new concepts and keep a track of unique products based on strategically inspired verticals, trends, and opportunities.
- Manage purchase order placement and maintain communication with vendor partners and logistics team coordinator.
- Collaborate with Marketing, and Creative team on samples, photo shoots and end-to-end marketing and customer experience efforts related to products.
- Thorough knowledge ofRaw Material & Flow Monitoring & Sampling & Sourcing
- Brainstorming ideas on forthcoming season selections and design collections on the feasibility and practicality of designs
- Design concept, photography, photo styling, and post-production for catalogue, website, and other promotional materials to achieve brand consistency.
- Researching collection trends - Colors, Designs and Fabrics
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design printing, production techniques and technology

- **Creative Skills**:Adept at thinking outside the box in order to come up with innovative, creative designs and solutions. You work on defined parameters and guidelines to create a new design that are trend-driven, innovative, and recognizable
- **Drafting & Sketching**: Accurately draft, interpret and produce sketches & designs - experimenting with colour, fabric and texture fortechnical drawings and schematics for production.
- **Color theory**: Excellent and thorough understanding of color sense and the ability to understand how the palettes interact with each other to create appealing designs, patterns and textures for fabrics.
- **Software**:Experience using design software such as Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel and Sketchup.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
