**About Edvelup**:
Edvelup is a fast-growing ed-tech company focused on providing practical, career-oriented courses for students across India. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Accounting Executive** to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in recording and maintaining daily admission and transaction data in **Zoho Books**:
- Help generate invoices and receipts, and track partial payments from students
- Coordinate with the operations team on student onboarding and fee follow-ups
- Support preparation and filing of **GST returns** (GSTR-1, 3B)
- Assist with expense tracking and reconciliation
- Maintain organized documentation of financial records
- Support the accounts team with daily reporting and internal audit preparation
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Com / M.Com / related field
- 6 months to 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong communication skills in both English and Malayalam
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GST
- Familiarity with **Zoho Books**, MS Excel, or Google Sheets
- Good communication and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities
