Chennai, Tamil Nadu- Work Type: Full Time- We are searching for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join The ePlane Company, Chennai who will be responsible for all maintenance and repair of machines, technical equipment, and facilities at Thaiyur manufacturing facility. Reporting to the facility Manager, this position will also work closely with the production/fabrication department to support operational goals, as well as support maintenance needs in other departments as needed.

**Tech Skills/Responsibility**

Performing general maintenance on manufacturing facility equipment such as installing and/or repairing pumps, motors, compressors, and components of the machines.
- Maintaining, servicing and repairing critical equipment.
- Examines machines to troubleshoot breakdown and determine best solution for repair.
- Dismantles machines, replaces defective part, reassembles machines, and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
- Read and understand technical operating, service or repair manuals.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Ensures that quantitative and qualitative goals are fulfilled as per company guidelines.
- Ability to learn new concepts and work with diverse team of engineers, researchers and developers in indoor and outdoor scenario.
- Responsible for keeping up the safety and preventive maintenance for all equipment within the facility.
- Actively participating in all teams and performing inspections on safety related equipment such as fire extinguishers.
- Take part in issuing and resolving corrective and preventive actions in regards to maintenance, quality, safety, and environment.
- All work must be done in accordance with all laws, regulations, and instructions given.
- Any other work assigned by Maintenance Manager/Facility Manager.

**Requirements**:
Must have a minimum ITI(Electrical/Mechanical) Diploma; job related certifications a plus.
- Must be experienced in working on Electrical/Mechanical components of heavy machineries.
- Strong and effective communicator and problem-solver.
- Must be able to communicate with vendors to repair vendor provided equipment.
- Must be able to stand and walk properly, as well as bend and lift up to 55lbs (30 kgs approx.) regularly.
- Must align with the values and mission of the organization.
