**Job Title**: Electrical Maintenance Technician

**Location**: Egmore, Chennai

**Job Type**: Full-Time Job

**Key Responsibilities**:
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including motors, control panels, lighting systems, and power distribution.

Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, equipment malfunctions, and circuit problems.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to perform repairs and installations.

Install, replace, or repair electrical wiring, conduit, lighting fixtures, and electrical components as needed.

Collaborate with other maintenance team members to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.

Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, company policies, and relevant electrical codes.

Document and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the optimization of maintenance procedures.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize production downtime.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, and control circuits.

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance management software.

Understanding of electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant regulations.

Ability to use hand tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Certification as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrician, or related qualification.

Experience with predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., thermography, vibration analysis).

Knowledge of automation systems, such as PLC programming or HMI.
