**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**ROLE OBJECTIVE**

**To look after the training and placement activities of students to have close liaison with industry for the placement of students. To work in consultation with coordinator Industry -Institute interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals and industry. Arranges guest lectures, workshops, seminars, industrial visits & educational tours for students. Coordinates with the different industries for on-campus and off-campus interviews of the meritorious students for providing suitable jobs in their organizations.**

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaisons with industry
- Identifies and provides training needs of students.
- Arranges campus interviews.
- Proposes annual T & P budget.
- Assists students develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group sessions.
- Assists students develop and implement successful job search strategies.
- Prepares an audio-video presentation or a colorful hand-out on the college to be presented to potential employers.
- Compiles and maintains the database of student’s profiles for all the departments.
- Undertakes a rigorous placement campaign.
- Assists employers achieve their hiring goals.
- Empowers students with life-long career decision-making skills.
- Provides resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
- Acts as a link between students, almni and the employment community
- Up gradation of the students’ skill sets and commensurate with the expectations of the industry.
- Generation of awareness in the students’ regarding future career options available to them.
- Assists students in obtaining final placement in reputed companies.
- Organizes placement training for the student’s and make them ready for interview and group discussion.
- To organize the entrepreneurship workshops.

**- Knowledge of relevant software.**

**- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills**

**1. Education : Passed B.E./B.Tech with first class and Post graduate in Engineering or Management with
- HR**

**2. Experience :A minimum of 10 years (Salary as per experience)**

**3 years experience in training and development management (essential)**

**4. Special Skills & Knowledge: Communication Skill and Computer Knowledge**

**5. Industry Type : Education Industry**

**6. Functional Area : Academics**

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
