**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Training Programs**:

- Design and implement training programs to enhance students' technical and soft skills.
- Collaborate with academic departments to integrate industry-relevant training into the curriculum.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures by industry experts.
- **Placement Activities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with IT companies for placement opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and internship programs.
- Ensure high placement rates by effectively matching students' skills with job requirements.
- **Student Preparation**:

- Conduct mock interviews, resume writing sessions, and career counselling.
- Provide guidance on industry trends, job search strategies, and career development.
- Assist students in creating professional portfolios and LinkedIn profiles.
- **Industry Engagement**:

- Establish and maintain partnerships with industry professionals and organizations.
- Identify and explore new opportunities for collaboration with IT firms.
- Represent the institution at industry events and networking forums.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of placements, student progress, and employer feedback.
- Prepare reports and presentations on placement statistics and activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and standards.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Gather feedback from students and employers to improve training and placement services.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in the IT sector and integrate relevant changes into the training programs.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Proven experience in training and placement, preferably in the IT sector, HR.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry and current employment trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and placement management software.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain industry relationships.
