An established architectural firm located at Worli is hiring a Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Manager for their architectural practice. This role involves ensuring that all architectural designs, drawings, and documentation meet established standards, regulations, and best practices. The QA/QC Manager shall play a critical role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and compliance of architectural projects.

Position: Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Worli, Mumbai

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Review and Compliance:

- Conduct thorough reviews of architectural drawings, designs, and documentation to ensure alignment with company standards, industry regulations, and relevant codes.
- Verify that architectural plans accurately represent the design intent, including spatial arrangements, materials, dimensions, and other project-specific details.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in drawings and documentation.

2. Standards and Guidelines:

- Maintain a strong understanding of the firm's drawing standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Ensure that all architectural work adheres to established standards and follows prescribed formats, symbols, scales, and notations.

3. Documentation Control:

- Manage and maintain a system for tracking architectural documents, revisions, and approvals.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and design teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation submission.

4. Quality Assurance Processes:

- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and workflows for architectural projects.
- Define and execute quality control checklists, protocols, and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality outputs.

5. Communication and Feedback:

- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to project teams for improving drawings and designs.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to address and resolve quality-related issues.

6. Code and Regulation Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure architectural work meets legal and safety requirement

7. Training and Education:

- Provide training and guidance to architectural staff on drawing standards, QA/QC processes, and best practices.
- Assist in organizing workshops or seminars to enhance the team's understanding of quality control principles.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Participate in regular reviews of QA/QC processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:
▪ Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

▪ Professional licensure or certification in Architecture is a plus.

▪ Strong knowledge of architectural drawing standards, construction documentation, and building codes.

▪ Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

▪ Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant architectural tools.

▪ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

▪ Previous experience (10 years) in quality control, quality assurance, or document control within the architectural or construction industry is preferred.

**Salary**: ₹217,235.95 - ₹1,158,323.54 per year
