**Blue Sky Analytics is a climate tech startup building an API-based catalogue of environmental datasets by leveraging satellite data, AI, and the cloud - **_This portion looks too old. Pls check with Abi for this line - " Blue Sky Analytics is a next-gen climate tech startup turning satellite data into intelligent and actionable climate data sets for the world, to effectively combat climate change"_** We are looking for an experienced, energetic, efficient, quick-thinking, analytical AVP sales who will have to manage a range of responsibilities, from opportunity spotting, prospecting, engaging, and negotiating to deal closing clients in your geography of India and a few other countries. The AVP of Sales should have good knowledge and understanding of the market and competitive products. The person must also be an excellent communicator with impressive customer service skills to quickly navigate any situation to reach sales targets. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer of the firm, to meet your KPIs. **Your Role** - Spot and mine opportunities in your geographical area under a variety of use cases and client segments - Engage with clients, understand their needs and pain points, and discuss / demo solutions - Closely coordinate with data and tech team on client solutions - Prepare proposals, close LOIs, and initiate POCs if and when required - Negotiate and close deals including being involved in contract negotiations - Firmly meet sales targets and expand markets and wallet share - Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction. - Monitor the market and competitor products and activities. **Requirements**: - Proven work experience as an AVP of Sales or similar role with a demonstrated ability of deal closing - 6-7 years of sales experience. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - An outgoing person who is a good conversationalist has quick thinking abilities and high energy. - In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods - Strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products, and the market. - Experience in sales of geo-spatial products, ESG-related products, carbon credits, data products, and analytical product sales will be given preference. **Benefits** - **Open source at heart**: We are building a community where you can use, contribute and collaborate on. - **Own a slice of the pie**: Possibility of becoming an owner by investing in ESOPs. - **Comprehensive health cover**: Health cover for you and your dependents to keep you tension-free. - **Work Machine of choice**: Buy a device and own it after completing a year at BSA. - **Biannually Retreats**: Yes, there's work, but there's also a huge fun component to working at BSA that helps you unwind - the retreat - **Yearly vacations**: Take time off to rest and get ready for the next big assignment by availing the paid leaves.
