**Job Title**: Restaurant Hostess
**Location**: UB City Bangalore
**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager / Front of House Manager

**Job Type**: Full-Time / Part-Time
**Salary**: 25,000/- to 30,000/
- **Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage the waitlist and seating using a reservation or POS system.
- Maintain an organized and efficient front desk and reception area.
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and introducing their server when needed.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to customer inquiries.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure tables are available and clean for incoming guests.
- Communicate guest preferences or special occasions to servers or management.
- Maintain a clean and presentable host station and entrance area at all times.
- Ensure a smooth flow of service by coordinating with waitstaff and kitchen staff.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and escalate when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reservation systems or POS software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
