The Presales Solution Consultant is a key member of the Presales team and is responsible for the overall design, solution, effort estimation and writing of the RFP response and mapping client business requirements from the RFP/RFI/RFQ to response document. The Presales Solution Consultant works as a team member along with the Bid Management team, Delivery teams, Technical Architect and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer in form of RFP Response, Orals, and Negotiation.
Required Experience
- Experience in leading presales solutioning for multi-tower AD & AMS deals
- Minimum 12 years work experience of exhibiting high degree of technical expertise and understanding of solutions
- Excellent understanding of the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation
**Responsibilities**:
- Pre-sales and Business Development activities (opportunities assessment, solution mapping, storyboarding, resource estimation, proposal writing, client presentations. Support client visits, product, or proof of concept demos etc.)
- Demonstrate various AD, AM capacities to our customers during pre-sales and solutioning including estimations, solution mapping, storyboarding, resource estimation, proposal writing, client presentations
- Participate in technical discussions of the proposed solution
- Review and, if required, challenge the proposed technical architecture and solution
- Identify the skills required to deliver the solution and availability of skills within Sopra Steria
- Share Sopra Steria’s practical experiences in delivering AD and AM solutions with prospects and existing customers to demonstrate our credibility and expertise
Desired Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members regarding specific needs
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Ability to work with ambiguity and less facts.
- Must have good communication, writing and presentation skills.
- Should have excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Total Experience Expected: 10-14 years
**Qualifications**:
Knowledge of project management, business analysis, and technology implementation is preferred in full life cycle AD / AM engagements
Should have participated in, and be familiar with project methodologies including working in an Agile and DevOps environment
Knowledge of IT Service Management and IT Workflow capabilities, processes, and best practices
Presales certification such as from APMP is a plus.
