**College IT Administrator JD**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Help define college’s IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes. Monitor performance of college’s information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Investigate and implement security measures i.e college’s hardware, software and IT infrastructure, in consultation with the campus director and senior management.
- Offer technical support to the college staffs, students and troubleshoot computer problems
- Install and update college software and hardware as needed
- Devise, document and maintain IT policies and procedures that ensure operational (business) continuity and compliance with relevant requirements
- Manage and optimise administrative system i.e., College information system (Network, server, Web portals, Integrum) security, Projectors, printers and others
- Implement and manage the college’s IT infrastructure and systems within approved budget and resource allocations. Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
- Lead an environment in which high quality services are delivered to academic and non-academic staff, students, parents of the college
- Communicate with staff, students and parents on any IT queries that need to be addressed.

Desired qualification:

- Graduation or Post-graduation in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- education sector
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

- Kaidab Area, Whitefield, Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Bachelor's (preferred)
