**Shipping Documentation & Operations Executive**
This role is responsible for processing all documentation required for exporting shipments from India to various destinations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle cargo documentation
- Liaise with regulatory authorities on cargo documentation clearance.
- Monitor vessel arrival and departure.
- Update and maintain shipment records.
- Update clients on vessel activities and status of cargo clearance.
- Update database on vessel arrivals, vessel departures and cargo documentation.
- Verify records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Audit export documentation for vessel shipments and settlements.
- Communicate with appropriate internal/external customers, including trading desks, loading facilities, freight forwarders, brokers, vendors and customers.
- Ensure timely processing of export shipments.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure goods transaction payments are made and collected timely.
- Create, assemble and present applicable export documentation required per country specific destination in accordance with export laws and regulations.
- Submit timely document instructions to freight forwarders, independent surveyors and other third party industry providers.
- Verify sanctioned party screenings prior to release of export documents.
- Maintain export files in an organized and catalogued system.
- Support cross-functional departments; design, accounts, commercial, operations, etc.
- Ensure compliance with export laws and regulations.
- Continue education and ongoing review of industry requirements.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the regulations, guidelines, and/or company procedures and policies pertaining to exports and documentation and to be familiar with the applicable sources of support available whether in the form of reference books or individuals.
- Perform other clerical services for Export Department.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirement**:

- Associate degree in related field is preferred.
- Experience in freight forwarding export documentation is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Must possess basic skills with items such as copiers, scanners, fax machines, and calculators.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to tight schedules.
- Willingness to assist other departments to meet customer requirements.
- Must be able to interact with the management, supervisors, and other staff members in a reasonable and acceptable manner.

This positions offers a competitive base salary
