**Your Role**:
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the frontline ambassador of Maa Ilay. You will ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience, maintain store standards, and support daily sales operations. This role is perfect for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping customers while contributing to store success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Customer Engagement & Sales
- Welcome customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products.
- Explain product benefits, answer questions, and drive sales.
- Create a positive shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
- Store Operations & Inventory
- Maintain organized, clean, and attractive product displays.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and update records.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately.
- Compliance & Quality
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and hygiene standards.
- Support product quality checks, monitor shelf-life, and ensure freshness.
- Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Assist colleagues in daily tasks and collaborate to achieve store goals.
- Participate in team meetings and share suggestions for improvement.

Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and customer interactions and assist in preparing daily and weekly sales reports for management

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer-facing experience (experience in organic or FMCG retail is a plus).
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Customer-focused, friendly, and professional.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow store procedures.
- Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and in rotating shifts as needed.
